Collection: Black & White Photographic

Ireland in black and white is Ireland stripped to its essentials — the light, the stone, the people, the weather.

This collection gathers photographic fine art prints of Ireland's landscapes, coastal scenes, city streets, and cultural moments in monochrome. Bold, timeless, and made to work in any interior. Each print is produced on archival matte paper, available framed in solid wood or unframed. Free worldwide shipping.

Hanging them as a set

One tonal range, which is why monochrome hangs together in a way colour rarely does. The Ha’penny Bridge opened in May 1816 as Wellington Bridge, cast in eighteen sections at Coalbrookdale in Shropshire and shipped to Dublin; the halfpenny toll it is named for was dropped in 1919. The Forty Foot at Sandycove closes the first chapter of Ulysses — Joyce spells it “fortyfoot hole” — and was a men-only bathing place until a dozen women walked in, in July 1974. Three in monochrome at matching size is the arrangement.
