Mainie Jellett's hidden masterpiece, waiting to come home to you.
A Water-Lily Pond (1919)
This exquisite gouache captures the quiet magic of a garden moment—soft blues and greens dancing around crimson lilies floating in perfect stillness. Painted in 1919, it shows Jellett at her most lyrical, before her turn toward abstraction. This is your chance to bring it home.
About the Artist
Mainie Jellett (1897–1944) was a Dublin-born painter who studied under André Lhote and Albert Gleizes, absorbing modernism while keeping one foot in Ireland's artistic soul. Though she became known for bold geometric abstractions, her early work reveals a painter in love with light and colour. She died tragically young, leaving behind a body of work that feels deeply personal and visionary.Tracked, securely packaged, delivered in 2-5 business days.
