You left Dublin, but Dublin never left you—and here's the heart of it, frozen in 1796.
Trinity College, College Green
James Malton's 1796 view captures Trinity College in its full Georgian glory, the gate and facade rendered with the precision of someone who loved every stone. This is Dublin at its most confident, before the city changed forever. Bring home the Ireland you remember, or the one your family told you about.
About the Artist
James Malton (1761–1803) was an English-born architect and printmaker who fell in love with Dublin. He spent his career documenting the city's buildings with obsessive care, producing over 100 aquatint prints that became the definitive record of late-18th-century Dublin. His work was technical but never cold—every line carries affection for the place. Malton's Dublin prints are now treasured by collectors and historians alike.Tracked, securely packaged, delivered in 2-5 business days.
